At the age of 9 he began his studies at the school of artistic and cultural training, RECREARTE, where he worked in groups such as; Symphonic Orchestra, Tropical Orchestra and the Symphonic Band of the Municipality of Sopó. With the Symphonic Band he participated in the National Band Competitions of San Pedro Valle, National Symphonic Band competition of Anapoima where it obtained the first place in various occasions. One of the highlights of this group was the tour to the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina where he and the group had a presentation in the Usina del Arte. He joined the Coluba group in 2016, and has been a trombonist, percussionist and has collaborated in musical arrangements. In 2017 he joined the University of Cundinamarca, where he will receive professor of trombone of the maestro Vladimir Romero. During this period he has taken part in groups such as Symphony Orchestra, Tropical Orchestra, Big Band and Choir UdeC among others.

One of the highlights was his participation as a soloist in the contest of soloists and groups of chamber Cacique Sopó, where he obtained in two opportunities the second place in University category and the first place in advanced category. In 2019 he joined the Symphony Band at the Carmelo de Villa de Leyva where he received a mention of honor for his excellent performance and commitment as an instrumentalist. This honors brought great achievements like getting first place in the Major category of the National contest of Bands of Paipa 2020 an event reconized as the most important in the country.
