He began his musical studies at the age of 11 years at the School of Artistic Formation of Tocancipá, under the guidance of Master Javier Humberto Guaneme, later continued his studies of tiple with Master Camilo Cifuentes with whom he was part of the “Estudiantina de Tocancipá”, on this group stands out the participation in the “Festival Colono de Oro” where the “Estudiantina” received the highest award, the Great “Colono de Oro”. This group also had an important participation in the Festival Mono Nunez, which is a renowned festival of Colombian Andean Music of great importance in the country. In 2016, he entered at the Cundinamarca University where he had the opportunity to improve his tiple skills under the guidance of Master Oscar Navarro, there he was part of groups such as: “Conjunto de Música Llanera”, “Música Andina Colombiana”, “Músicas del Pacifico”, “Coro Udec”, among others. In 2021, he received the professional title as Master in Music with emphasis in Tiple. In the same year, he joined the school of Artistic Formation of Tocancipá as a trainer of plucked strings.
